Particle™ is a granular delay / pitch shifting pedal. It chops your signal into small grains and then rearranges, shifts, and mangles it, using the techniques of granular synthesis in real time. Results range from radical pitch and delay modulation to shimmering repeats to time stretching, stutter, and glitch sounds.

Five delay and three pitch modes give intuitive control over random delays, bubbling textures, cinematic soundscapes, time stretching, and rhythmic glitches. Take a unique approach beyond conventional delay, pitch, flanging, and chorus sounds. Freeze notes with adjustable threshold for stutter, punch in, or drone-line effects. Lock multiple parameters to tap tempo or MIDI sync with independent note divisions for intricate rhythms. A few quick button taps combine all of the modes for ambient textures or layered glitches. Access hidden parameters via MIDI, tablet, or the front panel for full granular processing.

Seven pitch quantization settings allow shifting, detuning, and random jumps in octaves, octave & fifths, semitones, and other ratios. Pitch quantization changes the behavior of randomization and detuning, adding new ambient textures.

Multiple feedback settings allow notes to be recycled, repeated based on probability and/or number of repeats, or fade out naturally. Ping-pong feedback and random stereo panning create an expansive stereo field.

Our web-based editor gives you access to all parameters and configuration settings. The editor allows you to name and organize presets, download them to your computer and share them on patchstorage.com. We also provide a TouchOSC layout for expanded performance control on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows.

The Particle 2 is performance friendly, with controls spaced for real-time tweaking and designed so you can explore new sonic territory while remaining in control. Use the assignable expression pedal or DIY-friendly remote switch for hands-free control. The Particle 2 is pedalboard-friendly with all jacks on top. With full MIDI control, stereo input/output, and +8 dBu maximum input level, it is also at home in modular setups or the studio.

Particle 2 won the Premier Guitar Premier Gear award. Read the Premier Guitar Review (9/2019)

The Particle V1, released in 2011, was the first granular delay pedal. The Particle 2 added stereo I/O, presets, MIDI, higher fidelity, and greatly expanded the sounds possible while keeping the lucid interface. Learn more about the history of the Particle in our blog.

I would buy this twice!
Style: Sport, Size: 12in
This Chuckit! Dog Ball Launcher 12M Sport is the perfect product for the dog park! It makes games of fetch so much easier and more fun — the long handle gives great reach, so I can launch balls super far without even bending over, and our dog goes absolutely wild chasing them. It’s comfortable to hold, works smoothly with 2.5" dog balls, and really saves your arm and back if you’re doing a lot of throwing. The design is sturdy and reliable, so we can play for longer without worrying about it snapping or wearing out. If you spend time at the dog park or love playing fetch, this launcher turns a regular game into something even better — our pup gets twice the exercise and we get to enjoy every minute of playtime!

Caution can cause addiction
Style: Sport, Size: 12in
My dog has become addicted to tennis balls because of this! She sees the blue handle and she immediately loses her mind! I love it because I don't have to bend down as far to pick up the ball, which is amazing after 2 back surgeries.

12 " too short, no direction.
Style: Sport, Size: 12in
I got the twelve inch handle. It is too short and does not flex enough to release ball in right direction. Its almost impossible to aim and doesn't sent the ball far enough.

Great For Dog Park Fun -- The Ball Goes Flying
Size: 25in, Style: Sport
I love this thing. It's super well made and It enables me to chuck a ball the entire length of the dog park (I'm a 65 yr old woman with a wimpy arm). My dog is thrilled too. At first I thought it might be too heavy, but that's just not an issue, the weight is fine. For non-throwers like me someone at the dog park gave me a tip --- just look at the area you want to throw the ball. Helped my aim immensely. The 2.5 inch chuck it ball it comes with is my dog's absolute *favorite* . . . it's her security blanket in the kennel while driving, and it's her favorite ball to chase (the only one she'll actually bring back). She loves to chew it and to squish the air out of it, which takes a little effort. Recommend.
